A Prayer Answered

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.parentdish.com/media/2010/01/haiti-orphans-425ds011910.jpg

In my last post I told you all how I was trusting God completely with my fundraiser "Munchies for Missions" well I have an amazing praise! With all the cookies, bread, and brownies I sold I calculated how much I would earn (around $55). Well two days ago (Sunday) I was handing out peoples munchies and I was collecting the checks... When church was over my mom came and was helping me count it all out and make sure we had given everyone what they needed we recieved checks that were far more than the $8 it cost. Some people blessed me in a bigger way that I could ever express to you. Their donations ranging from $20 to $500!!! So for my first week of fund-raising I earned $950! Such an amazing God thing! This means I only need $550 more.

Look for the little blessings that God sends for you, it may be something big as mine was this week or it might be someone buying you a cup of coffee or a beautiful sunrise. Whatever it may be keep your eyes and heart open to God and he will bless you for it.

Donations, children, and sunrises,
Kristen
